BillerPlus has three user roles with different permission levels.

Admin
Admins have full access to everything:
- Process invoices (approve, reject, request info)
- Manage all inboxs
- Invite and manage team members
- Access billing and subscription
- Export data
- View analytics
Best for: Company owners, finance managers, AP team leads
Reviewer
Reviewers can process invoices but cannot manage settings:
- View and process invoices
- Use bulk actions
- Export data
- View analytics
Cannot: Manage inboxs, invite users, access billing
Best for: AP staff, accountants, department managers
Viewer
Viewers have read-only access:
- View invoices and their details
- View status and history
- Search and filter invoices
Cannot: Take any actions on invoices, export data
Best for: Auditors, executives needing visibility, support staff
Changing roles
Admins can change a user’s role:
- Go to Team in the sidebar
- Click on the user
- Select a new role
- Save changes
Role changes take effect immediately.
