For administrators: first setup (5 minutes)
- Open Apps → Biller Plus. The setup wizard asks for the company currency, working week, roles with default cost and billing rates, and how far back to import worklogs.
- In Settings → Rates & roles, assign people to roles (or import a CSV:
email,role,cost_rate,billing_rate,effective_date). Add person, client or project rates where they differ. - In Settings → Access, grant finance admin to people who manage rates and invoices.
- In Settings → Teams, add teams and their managers (managers approve timesheets and see utilization).
For finance and project managers
- New project: Portfolio → New project. Pick the Jira scope (project, Epic, JQL or issues), the budget model, budgets, project managers and alerts. Biller Plus imports all in-scope worklogs in the background.
- Project dashboard: health, budget vs progress, burn, forecast; Breakdown to drill from Epic or person down to worklogs; Budget for change requests (finance approves); Expenses; Alerts; Trend.
- Invoices: pick a project and period, review lines by role, export CSV, then mark the worklogs as billed.
- Reports: 15 ready-made reports plus a report builder; export any report as CSV.
For everyone
- My timesheet: type hours into the grid (1.5, 1h 30m, 90m or 1:30). Worklogs go straight to Jira. Use the timer, copy last week, and submit the week for approval.
- Billable or not: open a day’s details to mark worklogs billable or non-billable.
- Notifications: alerts, approvals and missing-time reminders appear under Notifications.
